South Coast readers often have different preferences in reading material than those in other parts of the state and United States. Here are the top-five sellers this week at Winter River Books in Bandon, according to owner Johnna Hickox:
"The Dangerous Book for Boys" by Conn Iggulden provides men of all ages with information on guy activities, none of which involve electronic devices.
"Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert recounts the author's worldwide pilgrimage for personal peace and happiness.
"How to Find Flower Fairies" by Cicely Barker is a beautiful and interactive guide that will keep fairy-philes happy for hours.
"Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen continues to be a top seller with its touching tale of an aging vet's memories of his early career with the circus.
"T is for Trespass" by Sue Grafton is the latest in her widely popular alphabetical Kinsey Milhone mystery series. |
