Communities present holiday events

Groups present concerts, host fundraisers Coos Bay Pipe organ concert Lee Littlefield at the Mighty Wurlitzer and Dr. Wilbur Jensen and the Christmas Brass Ensemble will perform in the 33rd-annual “Sounds of Christmas” concert at noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown Coos Bay. Littlefield will play the Wurlitzer organ, one of the few that still exist. The Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association is working to restore the instrument. The Christmas Brass will perform traditional holiday music, novelty tunes and an audience sing-a-long.
