South Coast readers often have different preferences in reading material than those elsewhere. Here are the top-five sellers this week at Books By the Bay in North Bend, according to owner Trish Price:
“Born Standing Up: A Comic’s Life” by Steve Martin brings us this comic genius’ life.
In “Steve & Me” by Terri Irwin, the woman who knew Steve Irwin best offers a loving, moving story of their life together, his astonishing legacy and the man behind the “Crocodile Hunter” phenomenon.
Just in time for the holiday cooking is “Nigella Express: 130 Recipes for Good Food, Fast” by Nigella Lawson.
“Freckleface Strawberry” by Julianne Moore and LeUyen Pham is the hilarious, heartfelt story about a red-haired, freckled little girl who learns to live with all of the things that make her so unique, written by the award-winning actress.
“Rachael Ray: Just in Time!: All-New 30-Minutes Meals, Plus Super-Fast 15-Minute Meals and Slow It Down 60-Minute Meals” by Rachel Ray is another cookbook to help you out during the holidays!
