The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
* Nov. 23, a hit-and-run accident was reported in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.
* Nov. 23, beer theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 2051 Newmark Ave.
* Nov. 23, someone was reportedly shooting at geese with a rifle in the 1800 block of Southwest Boulevard.
* Nov. 23, a bicycle theft was reported in the 1200 block of South 10th Street.
* Nov. 23, a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Noble Avenue. Lost items were valued at $135.
* Nov. 24, a fight was reported at Gussie’s Bar & Grill, 1088 Newmark Ave.
* Nov. 24, a shoplifter was reported at 7-Eleven, 1075 Newmark Ave.
* Nov. 24, a shoplifter was reported at McKay’s Market, 130 N. Cammann St.
* Nov. 24, a shoplifter was reported at Fred Meyer, 1020 S. First St.
* Nov. 24, illegal dumping was reported in the 1900 block of Newmark Avenue.
* Nov. 24, an illegal burn was reported in the 2500 block of Woodland Drive.
* Nov. 24, possible criminal mischief was reported at Mingus Park Pool.
* Nov. 24, criminal mischief was reported in Eastside Park.
* Nov. 25, a burglary was reported at Mingus Park Pool.
* Nov. 25, two vehicles were broken into in the 1100 block of Fulton Avenue. A pair of binoculars and a Wal-Mart gift card were stolen from one vehicle, and compact discs and $40 in cash were stolen from the other.
* Nov. 25, mail theft was reported in the 600 block of Montgomery Avenue.
* Nov. 25, a vehicle was broken into in the 800 block of Arago Avenue.
* Nov. 25, a graphing calculator, compact discs and backpack were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Woodland Drive.
* Nov. 26, a residence was vandalized in the 900 block of South Empire Boulevard.
* Nov. 26, a window was damaged at Java The Hut, 401 Sixth Ave.
North Bend
* Nov. 23, a vehicle’s windshield was bashed out while parked in the 1800 block of Garfield Street.
* Nov. 23, items were reported stolen from the North Bend Swimming Pool. Two youth were later barred from using the pool.
* Nov. 23, a yard was damaged in the 2100 block of 16th Street.
* Nov. 24, criminal trespassing was reported at Parker’s ATV & Cycle, 2136 Stanton St.
* Nov. 24, a burglary was reported at Beauty & The Beast Antiques, 615 Virginia Ave.
* Nov. 25, a shoplifter was reported at Safeway, 1735 Virginia Ave.
* Nov. 25, windows were damaged in the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue.
Coquille
* Nov. 24, a window was broken in the 1100 block of East First Place.
Reedsport
* Nov. 23, a woman reported someone attempted to enter her residence in the 3000 block of Frontage Road.
* Nov. 23, a disturbance was reported at Reedsport Lanes, 2606 Frontage Road.
* Nov. 24, a vehicle was vandalized in the 500 block of North 13th Street.
* Nov. 24, a scooter was stolen at Highland Elementary School, 2605 Longwood Drive.
* Nov. 24, a disturbance was reported in the 2400 block of Longwood Drive.
* Nov. 26, a disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of Cedar Avenue.
Coos County
* Nov. 24, mushrooms were stolen in the 87600 block of Dew Valley Lane.
* Nov. 25, a vehicle knocked down a fence and hedge in the 93500 block of Upper Loop Road.
* Nov. 25, a vehicle was vandalized in the 91000 block of Cape Arago Highway.
