Medicare enrollment in Reedsport

Saturday, November 24, 2007 |
Douglas County RSVP Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors volunteers will conduct a Medicare Part D Open Enrollment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lower Umpqua Senior Center, 460 Winchester Ave., in Reedsport.
Medicare Part D plans should be reviewed annually due to changes in the policy itself or ones personal health needs. There are many program choices because the program is highly personalized and not all programs work for everyone, a press release said.
SHIBA volunteers are educated in the latest updates and are willing to share their knowledge.
Those attending should bring a Medicare card (red, white and blue) and a list from ones doctor or pharmacy of the medications currently taken. Appointments are not taken; this is a first come, first served event.
