Coos Bay

The Coos Bay Indoor Crafter’s Fair and Farmer’s Market, located at 158 Central Ave., across from the Hub Building, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during November and December.

Port Orford

The second-annual Port Orford Holiday Arts Guild sale will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Saturday, Dec. 22, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day.

The event will be held at the Port Orford Arts Council office at Seaside Plaza, suite C, 1320 Oregon St.( U.S. Highway 101).

This year’s guild features the following artists: Sharon Hebel, gemstone and silver wrap jewelry; Cindy Prince, kelp lamps; Donna Roselius, books; Dawn Ferrari, paintings, gourd art, and jewelry; Sunja Goldenrose, photography; Trudy Elliott, kelp creations; Shirley Nelson, books; Alayne Olmstead, paintings and portraits; Jane Odson, jewelry; Dominique Fougerolles, ceramics; Beverly Holloway, wooden sculpture, photography, gourd art; Susan Lincoln, photocards and seashell pins; and Jean McLaren-Sharpe, sketches and watercolors.

With every purchase made, shoppers will be entered in an Art Giveaway Raffle featuring items handmade by guild artists.

This weekend

Langlois

Organizers of the annual Langlois Holiday Crafts Fair invite people to start their holiday season with a visit to Langlois. The fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, at the Langlois Lions Hall on Floras Lake Loop. The event is an 11-year collaboration between the Friends of the Langlois Library and the Langlois Lions Club, and will feature 25 vendors selling unique crafts and collectibles, home-baked goods, quality used books, and other treats. The Lions will offer light lunches and desserts for purchase.

Coos Bay

Cary’s Decorative Painters will present their first Decor and More Holiday Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road, in Coos Bay. The sale will feature hand painted items including furniture, lamps, trays, bowls, suitcases, Christmas decorations and more. There will be a door prize. North Bend

Shoppers will have the opportunity to find Christmas gifts at the third-annual Holiday Book and Craft Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Unity by the Bay, 2100 Union Ave., in North Bend. Myrtle Point

The Valley Christian Center Holiday Bazaar Craft and Bake Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, in Myrtle Point. Volunteers will hold the event in the Valley Christian Center, at 448 Maple St. Proceeds from the sale will benefit hungry people in the Myrtle Point Community. Valley Christian  is a member of the South Coast Food Share Network.

Nov. 23, 25

Bandon

Coastal Harvest Gleaners, in Bandon, is a part of the food share program of Coos County. They are planning a Christmas Bazaar craft and bake sale to be held the day on Friday, Nov. 23, and again Sunday, Nov. 25. It will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bandon at a location to be announced. The gleaners must pay a portion of transportation and actual costs for the food. They depend on fundraising and donations from the community. Any nonprofit group in Bandon is welcome to have a table at this event. Groups that wish to participate or those who want to help with a donation for the Christmas Bazaar craft sale and bake sale, can call Lyn Silverman 347-1585 or Jo Linder at 347-8301.

Nov. 30 to Dec. 1

North Bend

There will be a Christmas Craft Fair from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday Nov. 30; and from 9 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Bay Area Church of the Nazarene, 1850 Clark St, in North Bend. It will be hosted by the Women's Ministry.  Many vendors and a soup and bread lunch will be offered. Table space is available. For more information, those interested can call the church at 756-2004.
