Coos Bay

The Hearts & Hands Crafter’s Guild will hold a Christmas sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road, in Coos Bay. There will be a raffle for a basket of hand-crafted items valued at over $200 and a door prize. The annual craft, quilt and bake sale at the Coos Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church is being held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, at the church, 2175 Newmark Ave. 

Emmanuel Episcopal Church will host its 119th Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. A turkey luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will cost $6. Crafts, candy, pie and baked goods will be for sale, and there will be a special section for collectibles and antiques. Proceeds will benefit THE House, the Waterfall Clinic, Women’s Safety and Resource Center, the Ecumenical Emergency Food Cupboard, the Pregnancy Resource Center, Habitat for Humanity, South Coast Hospice and the church’s Christmas Outreach.

The Bay Area Hospital Gift Shop will host a Christmas preview from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday at 1775 Thompson Road, in Coos Bay. The gift shop is run by Bay Area Hospital Auxiliary, a nonprofit group. Proceeds from the gift shop go toward equipment for the hospital.

North Bend

The American Legion Bay Area Unit No. 34 is hosting its first craft fair of the holiday season from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the American Legion Building 1421 Airport Way, North Bend.

The  Women of the First United Methodist Church of North Bend will hold an annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the church, 2289 Meade St. The bazaar features Ruby’s Heirloom Attic, full of treasures for the home; a bake shop with home-baked goodies; hand-crafted items; plants grown for this event; Rada knives and accessories, with demonstrations given throughout the day; holiday wreaths; Fair Trade Coffee to benefit Heifer International; church cookbooks; hot pastries and free coffee. Raffle tickets for a handcrafted doll and a small quilt also will be sold. For more information, those interested can call the church at 756-6959.

The Pony Village Mall is hosting a holiday arts and crafts fair Friday through Sunday during mall hours. There will be vendors selling items such as stained glass, pottery and jewelry. The mall is at 1611 Virginia Ave.

Lakeside

There will be a holiday gifts and craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Lakeside Senior Center, 915 North Lake Road. Tables are available for $10. For more information, those interested can call June at 759-4391.

Coos Bay

The Bay Area Senior Center Craft Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9; and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the center, 886 S. Fourth St., in Coos Bay. Homemade items such as dolls, doilies, towels, scarves, bingo bags, purses and more. Tables are available for rent. For more information, those interested can call 269-6699.

Nov. 16-17

Langlois

Organizers of the annual Langlois Holiday Crafts Fair invite people to start their holiday season with a visit to Langlois. The fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, at the Langlois Lions Hall on Floras Lake Loop. The event is an 11-year collaboration between the Friends of the Langlois Library and the Langlois Lions Club, and will feature 25 vendors selling unique crafts and collectibles, home-baked goods, quality used books, and other treats. The Lions will offer light lunches and desserts for purchase.

Coos Bay

Cary’s Decorative Painters will present their first Decor and More Holiday Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road, in Coos Bay. The sale will feature hand painted items including furniture, lamps, trays, bowls, suitcases, Christmas decorations and more. There will be a door prize. Nov. 23, 25

Bandon

Coastal Harvest Gleaners, in Bandon, is a part of the food share program of Coos County. They are planning a Christmas Bazaar craft and bake sale to be held the day on Friday, Nov. 23, and again Sunday, Nov. 25. It will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bandon at a location to be announced. The gleaners must pay a portion of transportation and actual costs for the food. They depend on fundraising and donations from the community. Any nonprofit group in Bandon is welcome to have a table at this event.
