The following represents recent action on cases in Coos County Circuit Court:
Convicted
Matthew S. Kohl, 33, of Coos Bay, was convicted on Oct. 4, 2007, of felony unlawful use of a weapon and was ordered to pay $187 in fines and sentenced to 30 days in jail and 36 months probation.
John M. Langley, 23, of Lakeside, was convicted on Sept. 14, 2007, of felony unauthorized use of a vehicle and was ordered to pay $ 486 in fines and sentenced to 8 days in jail, 24 months probation and 12 months suspension of drivers license.
Edward G. Rezendes Jr., 62, of Coos Bay, was convicted of misdemeanor assault-4 on Sept. 17, 2007, and ordered to pay $687 in fines and was sentenced to 18 months probation.
Patrick R. Miller, 38, of Broadbent, was convicted of felony aggravated first-degree theft on Aug. 17, 2007, and was ordered to pay $30,450 in restitution and was sentenced to 20 days in jail and 24 months probation.
Katherine S. Walton, 45, of Coquille, was convicted of felony filing a false claim by a health care provider on Sept. 11, 2007, felony theft-1 and felony unlawfully obtaining public assistance and was ordered to pay $460 in fines and $8,385 in restitution and sentenced to 50 days in jail and 36 months probation.
Vernon L. Johnson, 28, of Reedsport, was convicted of misdemeanor DUII on Sept. 17, 2007, and ordered to pay $1,080 in fines and sentenced to 2 days in jail and 12 months suspension of drivers license.
Patrick F. Leonardini, 26, of Charleston, was convicted of misdemeanor physical harassment on Sept. 27, 2007, and was ordered to pay $1,827 in fines and sentenced to 13 days in jail and 36 months probation.
Cindy J. Price, 53, of Bandon, was convicted on Oct. 1, 2007, of felony assault on a public safety officer, misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor disorderly conduct-2 and misdemeanor harassment and was ordered to pay $740 in fines and sentenced to 25 days in jail and 36 months of probation.
Patrick B. Donley, 41, of Coos Bay, was convicted on Oct. 12, 2007, of five counts of felony unauthorized us of a vehicle, three counts felony theft-1 and felony theft of identity and was ordered to pay $43,9990 in restitution and sentenced to 136 months in state prison, 24 months probation and loss of drivers license for 48 months.
Dismissed
Matthew S. Kohl: On Oct. 1, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony assault-2 and misdemeanor menacing.
John M. Langley: On Sept. 10, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony theft-1.
Edward G. Rezendes Jr.: On Sept. 17, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony criminal mistreatment-1.
Patrick R. Miller: On July 31, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony aggravated theft-first degree and felony burglary-1.
Katherine S. Walton: On Aug. 27, 2007, the court dismissed charges of six counts of felony theft-1, six counts of felony filing a false health care claim and felony theft-1.
Vernon L. Johnson: On Aug. 20, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony possession of methamphetamine
Patrick F. Leonardini: On Sept. 13, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony coercion, felony criminal mistreatment-1, two counts of felony assault-4, two counts misdemeanor assault-4 and misdemeanor physical harassment.
Patrick B. Donley: On Sept. 24, 2007, the court dismissed charges of felony burglary-2, felony unauthorized use of a vehicle, 15 counts of misdemeanor unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, felony felon in possession of a firearm, six counts of felony theft-1, two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief-2 |
