Accountant joins NB office

The North Bend Office of Hough, MacAdam & Wartnik, LLC, Certified Public Accountants, has announced that Joe Colo recently joined its staff as a staff accountant.
Colo has 30 years of accounting and budgeting experience. Originally from Illinois, he moved to Oregon in 1980 with his family. He has worked as business manager at Southwestern Oregon Community College, finance director at the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board, chief accountant at the Coos-Curry Electric Co-Op and other governmental, banking and private organizations.
Colo'€™s areas of expertise are governmental accounting, Oregon budget law and enterprise accounting.
He will begin studying for his CPA license and looks forward to accomplishing this goal of becoming a certified public accountant in 2008.
