Punt, Pass & Kick is Sunday

Two different NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competitions are planned this weekend and next weekend on the South Coast.
The Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon is coordinating an event at Marshfield High School on Sunday.
Registration starts at noon at the stadium and the competition begins at 1 p.m.
NFL Punt, Pass & Kick is a free program and open to all boys and girls who are ages 8 through 15 on Dec. 31 this year.
Youths will compete in four age groups — 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15.
All local winners advance to the sectional competition.
The Coquille Fire Department will hold an NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition on Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Coquille High School football field.
Registration for the event begins at 1:15 p.m., with the competition starting at 2 p.m.
Entry forms and waivers can be picked up at Coquille schools or the Coquille Fire Department.

Pre Run for Kids
Registrations are being accepted for the Pre Run for Kids.
The 3-mile race, sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16, starting in downtown Coos Bay. The event is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 8. The early registration fee is $12 with a T-shirt and $10 without.
