| Article: | Injured on the job According to statistics provided by the U.S. Department of Labor, in 2004, nursing aides, orderlies and health attendants were ranked as the No. 2 occupation most afflicted with musculoskeletal disorders. That doesn’t take into account the many other employees working in the health field, which also were ranked by category, and when added together, placed health-care workers firmly in the No. 1 position with 52,000 musculoskeletal disorders formed while on the job, in 2004 alone. |
