The following are theft and criminal mischief reports from area police department logs.
Coos Bay
€ Aug. 20, a prowler was reported in the 1300 block of Seagate Avenue.
€ Aug. 20, two cougars were seen in the east upper parking lot of Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road.
€ Aug. 20, animal abuse was reported in the 1500 block of North Seventh Street.
€ Aug. 20, a fraudulent check was reported at Check Cash Northwest, 845 S. Broadway.
€ Aug. 20, burglary was reported at a residence in the 300 block of North Empire Boulevard.
€ Aug. 20, theft of mail was reported in the 900 block of Sanford Street.
€ Aug. 20, theft of cash was reported in the 800 block of Anderson Avenue.
North Bend
€ Aug. 20, someone was seen throwing burning material from a vehicle on Tremont Avenue near Sapphires Mongolian Grill.
€ Aug. 20, a realty sign was stolen from the 2300 block of Pony Creek Road.
Reedsport
€ Aug. 20, shoplifting was reported at the Price 'n' Pride, 1300 Highway Ave.
€ Aug. 20, guns were stolen from the 2600 block of Gardens Avenue.
Coos County
€ Aug. 20, a burglary was reported in the 60000 block of East Bay Drive.
€ Aug. 19, a car was stolen in the 60000 block of West Fork Millicoma Road.
€ Aug. 19, criminal mischief was reported in the 40000 block of U.S. Highway 101, in Bandon.
€ Aug. 18, illegal fireworks were reported in the 40000 block of Seven Devils Road.
€ Aug. 18, criminal trespassing was reported on Potato Bottom Road.
