A woman was injured Monday when her car spun into a rock embankment on state Highway 42.

According to a Oregon State Police press release, at approximately 11:56 a.m., a 2001 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Lela S. Brown, 65, no address available, was heading north on Highway 42 at milepost 8.3, when it veered onto the right shoulder, driving over gravel before coming back to the roadway. The car fishtailed and then spun into the embankment on the right side of the highway. Brown suffered a minor abrasion to her wrist, police said.
