A Washington man was arrested Thursday on identity theft charges.

According to a Curry County Sheriff's Office press release, at 4:20 p.m., Port Orford police officers arrested Dale L. Burkhart, 42, in Port Orford on charges of two counts of identity theft, two counts of attempting to elude police, second-degree burglary and second degree theft.

Burkhart was taken to Curry County jail, where he is being held on $115,000 bail.
