Ocean Fest will include music, food and fun

The Winchester Bay and Reedsport Ocean Fest will be held from Friday to Sunday at locations throughout the two cities. Sponsored by the Winchester Bay Merchants Association and other local organizations, the festival will offer activities and shopping opportunities throughout the weekend.
Assorted vendors will line Beach Boulevard in Winchester Bay, Friday through Sunday for the Bayside Bazaar, with arts, crafts, great food, antiques and collectibles.
Guaranty RV is putting on an RV show, and an annual Quilt Show and Boutique will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Reedsport on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday after church.
This year the U.S. Post Office issued a stamp series with five lighthouses-including the Umpqua River Lighthouse.
On Friday and Saturday the post office will host a booth at the bazaar featuring a stamp collection and “official” Umpqua River Lighthouse Stamp t-shirts.
Enjoy free concerts in the park while watching the boats in Winchester Bay Harbor and live entertainment can be found throughout the weekend at the Gazebo in Philip Boe Park, directly across from the Bayside Bazaar.
There will be lots of other sights, sounds, shows and shopping throughout the weekend. The community is invited to come and bring the family for great bargains, awesome food and lots of fun!
