Wednesday, June 27, 2007 |
The Southwestern Oregon Community College track and field facility, along with the adjacent parking lot, will be closed for short periods this summer due to scheduled improvements.
According to a Southwestern press release, parking Lot No. 4 at Southwestern, located between the north side of the track and the softball field, will be closed through July 1 while the gravel parking lot is paved with asphalt.
In addition, the track is scheduled to be resurfaced this summer. Contractor's are scheduled to work on the track between July 1 and Aug. 16. The track will be closed to the public when work begins and will be re-opened when resurfacing is complete.
