The White Cedar Days road race, a tradition that goes back decades in Powers, won't be held this year.

The event had been held annually in conjunction with the White Cedar Days celebration in Powers.

Declining participation numbers and a lack of volunteers willing to help coordinate the event led to it being canceled this summer.
