Alyssa Marie Schmidt and Daniel Isaac Brook, both of Coos Bay, have announced their plans to be married Aug. 25, 2007.

The future bride is the daughter of Mike and Terry Schmidt of Fortuna, Calif., and Autumn Schmidt of Prineville. Alyssa is a student at Southwestern Oregon Community College and employed at Area Glass.

The future groom is the son of Barry and Connie Brook of Coos Bay. Daniel is a graduate of Southwestern Oregon Community College and employed at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport.
