Striping work on state Highway 38 began Tuesday from Deans Creek Road to Scottsburg Bridge, according to a press release from the Oregon Department of Transportation. ODOT advises drivers to expect 15-minute delays with flaggers and pilot cars providing traffic control.

“The striping requires a lane closure, so we're going to have delays,” said Assistant Project Manager Dave Sibley.

The striping work covers an 11-mile section of Highway 38 from milepost 5.8 to 16.4. Work will continue from through Saturday.

Advance warning signs will be located along the highway.
