‘Dearly Beloved'to be performed in Bandon

Monday, June 11, 2007 |
The Bandon Playhouse will present the comedy “Dearly Beloved” on weekends through Sunday, June 24, at the Sprague Community Theater, 1202 11th Street S.W. in Bandon.
Kathie Lecce of Bandon directs the hilarious comedy about three estranged sisters and former gospel singing trio. Sallee Belonga plays the mother of the bride Frankie Futrelle Dubberly; the five-time married prodigal Honey Ray Futrelle is played by Johnna Hickox; with Cathy Underdown as the desperate-to-be-married third sister, Twink Futrelle.
“It promises to be a side-splitting, laughing-all-the-way-down-the-aisle experience for audience and cast alike,” said producer Pam Hansen.
Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for youths ages 8-18 or seniors 60 or older, and are available at Bandon True Value Hardware, Bandon Mercantile, Winter River Books and at the Sprague box office.
