Log truck accident

Traffic was delayed for two hours on Loon Lake Road on Wednesday after a log truck spilled its load.

According to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office press release, at about 3:11 p.m., a log truck was northbound on Loon Lake Road near milepost 6 when the load shifted on a curve and the vehicle crashed, spilling logs onto the west bank of the road. The driver, Zachary Hardy, 31, of Dexter, did not report any injuries to police.

The southbound lane of Loon Lake Road was blocked for two hours until crews cleared the site.
