Tuesday, May 22, 2007 12:16 PM PDT

Minor injuries were reported Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle traffic accident in Bunker Hill.

According to an Oregon State Police press release, at approximately 3: 46 p.m., emergency personnel were called to the scene of a crash near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Harriet Road.

A preliminary investigation of the crash scene indicated that a collision occurred between a 2003 Ford F-250 pickup truck, operated by 18-year-old Riley L. Stacey, of Coos Bay and a 1987 Toyota Celica, driven by Scott L. Clark, 31, of Coos Bay. The truck was heading south when, police say, it and the Celica collided.

Police said Stacey was found at fault in the crash and was cited with failing to carry proof of insurance.

No one was taken to the hospital.
