Universities announce dean's lists

Southern Oregon University
Southern Oregon University has released its dean's list for the winter 2007 term. To qualify for the list students must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.5, with at least 12 hours of graded coursework.
Students from Coos County attending SOU were named on the dean's list for the winter term.
Coos Bay
Brett Aakre, Angela Bell, Shayla Davis and Ignacio Franklin.
North Bend
Angela Finneran.
Eastern Oregon University
More than 600 students enrolled at Eastern Oregon University for winter term 2007 have been named to the dean's list. To qualify for the list a student must have achieved and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded course work for the duration of the term.

Jerry Bingham, Julie Brecke, Nora Collins and Lisa Craig.

Oregon State University
Oregon State University recently announced the names of students who were named to the scholastic honor roll for the fall term.
A total of 554 students earned straight-A (4.0). Another 2,364 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Brookings

Local students make out-of-state lists
€ Alyse Hansen Johnson was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Montana.
€ Kassy Lynass of North Bend recently was named to the Montana State University President's Honor Roll, with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
€ Thomas Kinsley of North Bend was listed on the dean's list for fall semester at Harding University in Arkansas. He received his diploma in commencement exercises at Harding University on Dec. 16.
