| Article: | Southwestern students achieve academic excellence in fall term Southwestern Oregon Community College has released listing of students who achieved academic excellence, earning a spot on the honor roll and dean's list for the fall academic term. To qualify for academic excellence at the college, a student must achieve a grade-point average of 4.0 with 12 hours of graded coursework. To qualify for the honor roll, a student must have earned an average of 3.5 to 3.99 with 12 hours of graded coursework. For dean's list recognition, students must have achieved an average of 3.0 to 3.49 in 12 credit classes. |
