At least 60 people gathered on the campus of Southwestern Oregon Community College Monday night to participate in a candlelight vigil to honor other students who died a week ago on the campus of Virginia Tech. Many at the vigil wore Virginia Tech shirts to show support for the campus. The campus Student Housing provided an open microphone to anyone who wanted to speak and help show support for the students and their families. A poster was set up on a table next to Tioga Hall for anyone to sign that will be sent to Virginia Tech.
