Twenty-five people participating the Coos Leadership program head for the Betty Kay in the Charleston Marina on Tuesday afternoon. Under the auspices of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Coos introduces newcomers to the community to businesses, services, agencies and activities throughout the area. The focus Tuesday for participants was an introduction to arts, entertainment and recreation. The group started out at the Coos Art Museum in downtown Coos Bay and toured various locations in the Bay Area and the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. They also rode a charter boat from Charleston to the Coos Bay Boardwalk to end their day.
