The businesses of downtown Coos Bay are holding an open house Friday and Saturday.

Participating stores will be offering refreshments, door prizes and special offers during the event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Wine tasting will be offered at Oregon Wine Cellars from 3 to 6 p.m. both days.

Businesses participating in the event include The Pottery Company, Express Blinds, Checkerberry's, Mountain Matters, Oregon Wine Cellars, Josie's on Broadway, Lila's Boutique, Sincerely Yours! Antique Mall, Coastal Grind, TruNorth/BNT and the Egyptian Theatre.
