Annual Easter egg hunts scheduled

As Easter weekend approaches, organizations are announcing a special annual activity.
Following are some of the Easter egg hunts scheduled in the region.
Coos Bay
Easter Egg Hunt
The Elks Lodge Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Mingus Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 7. Age groups include 1 to 3; 4 to 6; and 7 to 10 years.

Coquille
Easter Egg Hunt
The Coquille Rotary Club will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 7, at Coquille High School, 499 W. Central Ave. Children up to age 10 are invited to participate in hunting for the candy-filled eggs. Ice cream and prizes also will be available.
North Bend
Easter egg hunt
The Easter Bunny will take a vacation at the Pony Village Mall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, to host an Easter egg hunt and do the Bunny Hop.
More than 60 eggs containing $5 in Pony Bucks will be hidden for the hunt.
Children also will get a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny. Drawings and prizes will include a new children's outfit from Macy's and Payless Shoes, and two baskets of toys.
Reedsport
Annual Easter egg hunt
At 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 8, the Lions Club and the Winchester Bay Merchants Association will be hosting their annual Easter egg hunt at Jim Barrone Park, next to Highland Elementary School in Reedsport.
Eggs and prizes are provided by the Lions Club and Winchester Bay Merchants Association.
Bandon
Easter egg hunt
The annual Lions Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. on Easter afternoon, Sunday, April 8, in the Bandon City Park. For more information, those interested can call Johauna Hennick at 347-9464. |
