Life Care Center of Coos Bay recently honored Central Supply and Staffing coordinator James Peavyhouse with its annual “Whatever It Takes And Then Some” customer service award.

Peavyhouse has worked at the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility for two years, serving in housekeeping, then in maintenance. He was promoted to his current position in 2006.

“He is a quick learner with great attention to detail,” said Mardi Robers, executive director, in a press release. “In whatever position he has held, his first regard has always been to provide the best service to our residents. He is dependable, courteous and always ready to go the extra mile.”

The award was presented at a facility-wide associates' meeting on Jan. 23.

“Being able to work alongside the great team that we have is a wonderful experience,” Peavyhouse said in the press release. “The residents and my caring coworkers inspire me to do the best I can to help in any way. This makes every day at Life Care a uniquely wonderful day, and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.”

Peavyhouse also won the facility's monthly “Whatever It Takes And Then Some” award in July 2006.
