Stuck with sand
The area in front of the fuel dock and K-Lynn Fisheries in Charleston, seen here on Feb. 16, is sanding in and the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay is making arrangements to have it dredged. Currently, the local U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff is putting together a package to send out to bid to have the sand removed, according to the port. K-Lynn Fisheries, meanwhile, is using the public buying dock to offload fish.
