Animal group to host speaker on Thursday

The Furry Friends will host Robin O'Neal, of the Life Care Center in Coos Bay, as the featured speaker at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the Coos Bay Public Library. O'Neal will discuss the interaction between therapy dogs and the residents of Life Care Center.
Furry Friends Dog Therapy Group, Inc. is a private non-profit organization. The primary purpose of the group is the enhancement of residents in local adult care facilities through interaction with visiting companion dogs. Furry Friends also offers a speaker's bureau to local schools to educate children in dog safety and responsible pet ownership.
