Gregory Peck will dominate the screen this weekend at the Egyptian Theatre.

On Friday, “To Kill a Mockingbird” (1962), will be shown. Adapted from a novel of the same name by Harper Lee, the film follows Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck), a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge and his children against prejudice.

“Roman Holiday” (1953) will be on screen Saturday. Featuring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in their classic adventure in Rome. A bored and sheltered princess escapes her guardians and falls in love with an American newsman.

On Sunday “Top Hat” (1935) will be shown. Showman Jerry Travers (Fred Astaire) is working for producer Horace Hardwick (Edward Everett Horton) in London. Jerry demonstrates his new dance steps late one night in Horace's hotel, much to the annoyance of sleeping Dale Tremont (Ginger Rogers) below. She goes upstairs to complain and the two are immediately attracted to each other.

Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, the box office opens an hour before. General admission is $4, $3.50 for seniors and those 12 and under, and $3 for members. For more information, those interested can call 269-8650.
