Ocean volcanos topic at talk in Port Orford

Underwater volcanoes will be the topic of a presentation at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Port Orford City Council Chambers.
Dr. Craig Young, director of the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston, will show his video footage of submersible dives to underwater volcanoes in Samoa, Hawaii and the Bahamas, whale skeletons off California and methane seeps in the Gulf of Mexico.
Port Orford City Hall is at 555 W. 20th St.
