A Valentine's Dinner and Dance, hosted by the Oregon Coast Filipino American Association, will be held at 6:30 p.m., at the Black Market Gourmet, located at 495 Central Ave., in Coos Bay.

The event will benefit the people of Bicol who suffered from Typhoon Reming in 2006.

Seating is limited to 70. The cost for dinner is $50 per person. The menu will include hors d'oeuvres, salad and a main entree of both Creole chicken tenders and oven-roasted beef, plus a New York cheesecake for dessert.

Music and entertainment will be provided by DJ Joe Peterson. Sea Breeze Harmony and the Pur'Snickety Quartet will entertain and serenade couples during the cocktail/hors d'oeuvres time.
