Barn dance to be held at Greenacres Grange

The South Coast Folk Society's community barn dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Greenacres Grange Hall, 93393 Greenacres Lane, in Coos Bay.
The band Shoofly from Portland will provide music, and Sue Baker of Portland will call. The dance will have a Valentine's Day theme, and it will be ladies' choice for waltzes, contras, squares and circle dances.
Admission is $5; students, seniors and all first-time barn dancers pay $4; and children under 6 get in for free. The event is alcohol, tobacco and fragrance free.
