The “Wine, Beer, Seafood, Music Festival - Confluence 2007,” sponsored by the Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce, will be held Feb. 17-18, at the former W.F. Jewett School in Gardiner.
According to Chamber Events Coordinator Joe Mirvis, the event will feature a wide variety of arts and crafts.
Mirvis said seven or eight craft vendors, with work ranging from handcrafted unique silver jewelry to woodworkers and visual arts (photgraphy, stained glass, watercolors) will take part in the festival.
Also, a variety of seafood vendors are scheduled, including the Sportsmen's Cannery and Umpqua Aquaculture, of Winchester Bay; Porter's Catering, of Portland; Shrimply Delicious, of Seaside; and Smokehouse Catering, of Roseburg.
The 21-and-over, two-day festival will include the music of at least seven bands from around the region. Musicians Paul Biondi and Mark Madden will be the masters of ceremonies.
Mirvis said shuttle buses will be available to transport visitors from several free parking areas in Gardiner, Reedsport and Winchester Bay.
Preliminary plans include two days of festivities, from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17; and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18. A $5 admission will be charged for all-day attendance.
