Libby Lane accident

Saturday, January 13, 2007 |
Ice and snow in the area were to blame for an accident that occurred just before noon on Thursday on Libby Lane in Coos Bay. A NW natural truck collided with a minivan due to the slippery road conditions, police said, adding no one was injured in the crash. Coos County Sheriff's Office deputies, Coquille Tribal Police and emergency personnel from the Charleston Rural Fire Protection District, responded to the scene and cleared the wreckage. The crash was one of many in the region caused by the snow and freezing temperatures.
