The Mill Casino-Hotel expansion project

Part of The Mill Casino-Hotel expansion project is the recently opened high-limit slot room built on the west side of the casino. Opened in early December, the area has 62 slot machines with games ranging from $1 to $5. It is part of the $40-million expansion project started in August. A four-table poker room also opened. The new gaming area and poker room are part of the dockside expansion of the casino on the east side. Nearby, the 150-seat entertainment lounge should be finished by the spring. Mill General Manager Larry Close said in a press release, “This room provides the proper ambiance for poker players and is the perfect setting for our World Poker Tour Championship satellite tournament that begins in January.” The expansion includes a seven-story hotel addition, with 92 rooms in the three-year project. The Mill Casino-Hotel is owned by the Coquille Indian Tribe.
