Mayflower Descendants hold regional meeting

The winter meeting of the Cascade Colony, Society of Mayflower Descendants, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Oaks West Room of the Rogue Valley Country Club, 2660 Hillcrest Road, in Medford.
The program will be about “Mountain Men Rendezvous,” presented by Dr. Bud Bergstrom, who will come in costume and present his slide show that takes place in the Frog Holler.
There will be a luncheon of braised sirloin tips, grilled boneless chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, tossed green salad, dessert, coffee, and hot and iced tea. The cost per person is $19, and includes gratuity. Reservations must be made by Jan. 15.
Checks should be made out to Cascade Colony SOMD and mailed to Annette Shoemaker, 11015 E. Evans Creek Road, Rogue River, OR 97537.
All prospective members, guests and those interested are welcome to attend.
