Local U.S. Postal Service employees plan to join the nation Tuesday in mourning the death of former President Gerald Ford. That means local post offices will be closed both Monday (New Year's Day) and Tuesday, with no mail deliveries either day.
Ford, the 38th president of the United States, died Tuesday. He was 93 years old.
Flags are to be flown at half-staff at all at federal and state offices for the National Day of Mourning on Tuesday.
