Oregon Coast Gourmet Fest will be on Saturday
Monday, November 13, 2006 |
The Oregon Coast Gourmet Fest will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave., in North Bend. The event will feature more than 20 local wine and food vendors, as well as an art garden featuring local artists and chamber musicians.
Local wine will be sold by the bottle or case. Event attendees can sample traditional wines such as Reisling or merlot, to fruity varieties such as raspberry or cranberry.
Local artist Delia Lyons, in conjunction with MJ Koreiva from the Coos Art Museum, has organized the art garden, which will be located in the space next to Ross Dress For Less. This space will be transformed into a tranquil respite area with art, landscaping and music. Musicians include Seascape, a local string quartet; and Triadante, a local trio with a modern folk-style sound.
Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit Star of Hope.
