The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Forestry & Fisheries Committee and Douglas Timber Operators will meet at 7 a.m. on Friday at the Red Lion Hotel, 1313 N. Bayshore Drive, in Coos Bay.

Mike Robison of Coos Forest Protective will be the speaker, and the program will be an update of the 2006 fire season.
