Mel Brown Quartet headlines Tuesday concert in Mingus Park

Music on the Bay ongoing series of free concerts in September and October at the outdoor amphitheater at Mingus Park in Coos Bay will continue Tuesday.
All shows begin at 7 p.m. This week's performers are the Mel Brown Quartet, with special guest The Oregon Coast Lab Bands' Evolution Band.
Little Feat will perform on Tuesday, Sept. 26; and the Robert Moore Jazz Quartet on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
A free shuttle will be provided from Blossom Gulch Elementary School, 10th and Anderson; the Coos Art Museum, 235 Anderson Ave.; and the old City Hall, all in Coos Bay. No dogs, smoking or parking at the pool is allowed.
Dancing is allowed in the designated area only, and food and beverages will be available. Those attending can bring their own food for picnics.
