Theater won't show movie Friday

Thursday, September 14, 2006 |
Although the Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association spent a week trying to get a DVD projector so they could show “Cleopatra” this Friday to kick off the 2006 Bay Area Fun Fest, group members say the film won't be shown until the following week.
According to Michael Tribble, assistant to the president, the association and Oregon Satellite were unable to order the DVD projector from Sony in time to have the equipment delivered and installed before the Fun Fest this weekend. As a result the association won't be showing “Cleopatra,” this Friday, but plans to show the film on Friday, Sept. 22.
For more information on the association or movie showings, those interested can contact Tribble at 260-1033.
