An “ABCs of Homebuying” class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, in North Bend.

After completion of the class, those attending will be able to research first-time homebuyer and down payment assistance programs, shop for a loan and receive pre-approval, and select and purchase a new home. Topics to be discussed include housing decisions, financial preparation, mortgages, shopping for a home, closing loans and protecting investments.

Cost is $35, and registration is required. The location of the class will be disclosed upon registration.
