Ladies auxiliary to hold its cranberry food fair

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3440 will host its annual cranberry food fair, bazaar, bake sale, Rada cutlery sale and all-you-can-eat breakfast on Friday through Sunday, Sept. 8 through 10, at the VFW hall on Bates Road and state Highway 42 South, across from Hennick's Home Center, in Bandon.
Food fair entries can be submitted from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, and entries for the bake sale will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. The kitchen will be open for sandwiches and more on Friday and Saturday.
The bazaar, bake sale and Rada cutlery sale will be held on Saturday. Proceeds of the sales will go to the auxiliary's scholarship, youth activities and community services.
From 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, the all-you-can-eat breakfast will be available. The menu includes ham, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
The Canteen will be open with a special, and the VFW hall is non-smoking. The public is invited to attend.
