Road Runs

Upcoming Road Races on the South Coast

Moving on for Justin - Saturday, July 22, in Curry County. Events include a two- to four-person relay from Gold Beach to Brookings or a 2-mile fun run at Harris Park in Brookings. The relay will include four legs of about 7 miles each, with start times ranging from 7 a.m. (for walkers) to 9 a.m. The 2-mile fun run starts at 1 p.m. Both events end at Azalea Park in Brookings. The entry fee for the fun run is $10, while the relay fee is $25 per person for those who register by July 1, increasing to $30 for those who preregister after July 1 and $35 for those who sign up on race day. The race benefits Friends for Justin, which works to enhance the lives of children and youth through groups that support anti-violence, academic, athletic and arts-oriented programs for the children of Curry County. Circle The Bay - Saturday, Aug. 5, starting at 8 a.m. at Ferry Road Park in North Bend. Events include 30-kilometer run/walk and 30-kilometer three-person relay.
