Jordan Cove Energy Project is hosting an open house featuring mostly private industry experts discussing development of a proposed liquefied natural gas holding facility on Coos Bay's North Spit and related issues.

The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Mill Casino-Hotel in North Bend.

According to a press release, some of the speakers will include:

€ Jeff Bishop, Mike Gaul, Martin Callery - Oregon International Port of Coos Bay

€ Capt. Frank Whipple and Capt. Jerry Kichner - KSEAS Inc. of Houston, Texas

€ Dr. Stephen E. Dickenson - Oregon State University of Corvallis

€ Dave Driscoll, Scott Schlechter, Tova Peltz - Geotechnical Resources Inc. of Portland

€ Michael Webber, Walter Sonne, Captain Tim Leitzell - Moffat and Nichol of Long Beach, Calif.

€ Gregory Wayne, Martin Rosetta, Chuck Liveley, Steve Smith - Black and Veatch of Overland Park, Kan.

€ Dr. Bradley Floyd - TRC Companies of Lowell, Mass.

€ Vern Wadey, Elliot Trepper, Bob Braddock - Jordan Cove Energy Project

The open house presentations also are to address a proposed 250-mile, 36-inch gas pipeline from the North Spit holding facility to the California border.
