Logging accident kills Washington man

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A logger was killed after getting caught between a dump truck and a front-end loader, authorities said.
J.R. Lindsey, 23, of Skomokawa, Wash., died shortly after arriving by helicopter Monday at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital, said Petty Officer Jamie DeSanno of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Lindsey had been working for the Debriae Logging Company in a remote area of southwest Washington, according to the Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Office.
