Recommendations for outstanding citizens to be honored during the North Bend July Jubilee are being accepted through Monday, May 1.

Submissions can be dropped off at the North Bend Information Center, or mailed to The North Bend July Jubilee Committee, P.O. Box B, North Bend, OR 97459.

Candidates can be suggested in three categories: “Citizen of the Year,” “Lifetime Achievement” and “Family For Continuing Contributions.” Although no standard form is needed, the Jubilee Committee suggests that the written recommendation include a brief statement outlining the candidate's qualifications.

During the recognition ceremonies in July, the “Outstanding Boy and Girl Graduates,” named by the high school faculty, also will be honored.
